3.0 has now been released, but iTuneswill not update. It says that I am running the current version of 3.0 which is not correct. I am running Beta 5 courtesy of you. Advice please | |

I am seeing the same thing for a co-worker that has Beta 5. I got the GM release and put it on last week, so not sure if that's the only way around this. | |

just use the links on our page and download the appropriate firmware for your device, then restore in itunes with that downloaded firmware | |

Hi i recently upgraded my iphone 3g from 3.0 beta 5 to 3.0 GM seed then when june 17th came i upgraded to official 3.0FW by simply holding the Shift key for PC or Options key for MAC then i installed the FW which was released on 17th June and havent had any problems since. Hope this helps anyone with this problem in future. | |
